Please read the following carefully before filling in the competition entry form...

Competition entry rules and structure
This competition is open to all unsigned bands and solo artists resident in the UK where all members are at least 16 years of age with a myspace band account where we can check out your music, biog, pics etc and a minimum of 200 friends.

You must be playing live on a regular basis.

All genres of music are welcome.

Competition entry is free of charge.

One winning act will be chosen each month from February through to November (10 monthly winners in total).

Only one entry per band/artist is allowed. However, each entry will be considered for any of the remaining winning slots, for example: if you send in your application in August you will be entered into the competition for, September, October and November. So the earlier you apply the more competition draws you will be considered for!

Prizes
Each monthly winner will be featured for one month on The Junk Label myspace page (www.myspace.com/thejunklabel) and website (www.thejunklabel.com) and The Junk Label e-newsletter.

They will also be added to our top friends list on myspace and will appear in the list of previous winners for the remainder of the year. The monthly winner will also be announced on our blog and Facebook group.

The purpose of the competition is to help raise awareness for unsigned acts. All we ask in return is that each monthly winner adds us to their top friends list on myspace and displays the monthly winners image (which we will supply with url link to this competition entry form) for a minimum of 4 weeks from the date they are announced as winners.

In December an overall winner will be chosen to receive a special prize (to be announced)! Monthly spot prizes may also be announced from time to time.

The Junk Label Ltd reserves the right to alter the competition entry rules/structure and prizes at any time. Any alterations will be posted on our myspace blog.
